I don't know if people come here very often anymore, but I am graduating soon and was thinking back over time, and thought I'd come look over the site. Mr. J was a great man. A former student of his at ACOB, I remember him very fondly adn all the teachers at Academy (Elena's class was the best: I still have copies of Edgar Allen Poe stories in my closet). The teachers there made a lasting impression on me, and I am eternally grateful. I am thankful that there are people like Mr. J in the world, and Elena, and Karilee Shames. RIP Mr. J.

Mike was one of the first people I met when I was the full-time Literacy*AmeriCorps tutor at Toussaint. He was friendly, energetic, and always smiling--he made me feel quite comfortable there from the very start. He was quirky, all right, but seemed always to be a dependable person in his students' lives. It was wonderful to see how he consistently put the students' needs first. -Miss Janet

Wishing the best possible holidays to our community as we share sadness over the loss of our dear friend, family member, teacher Michael. It's a sad Thanksgiving time without him here, but my heart is filled with such gratitude that he was a part of our lives, and I know the world is a better place for all he did to brighten it and bring joy. There are nine new songs added to the list of background music. To listen to the music while in the Live Chat-get the music started from the Live Chat page BEFORE you "log in" to the chat. If you are having problems with the music-email me. Every browser is a little different. If you can't minimize the page or it stops when you minimize-try leaving the page open and click the page behind it. I have made up a smilie dictionary to explain smilies and how to use them in the chat. Click on the link from the Live Chat page before you "log in".
